Our goal is to assist people who are coping with mental illness and have a desire to improve the quality of their lives. When mental health issues are not addressed they can cause psychiatric hospitalizations, unwanted contact with the legal system and other major disruptions to a person's life. We want to reduce these negative experiences by teaching the skills needed to influence better decision making and promote sound management of symptoms.We strive to improve the lives of the people we serve through compassionate, clinically sound, intensive case management and skills development.

CVHA was founded in 2011 in Richmond, VA.  The agency has and continues to service the Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, Petersburg and Danville, VA areas.  We pride ourselves on being a local leader in professional healthcare.

Our Mission

 The primary goal of Central Virginia Healthcare Association, LLC is to preserve the Individuals independence and maintenance of healthy daily living through providing community linkages, role definition and communication skills that will equip them with the knowledge, skills and abilities to recognize personal danger, establish or maintain normal interpersonal relationships, recognize significantly inappropriate social behavior and assist with basic independent living skills to prevent hospitalization, homelessness or isolation from social support as a result of conflicts with family or community.
